For almost 20 years, Russell Morris has worked with and for The Conference Board, a global, independent business membership and research association working in the public interest. Russell currently serves as the head of Human Resources and a member of the executive team. He has previously served as Chief of Staff, a director in TCB's US Councils group, and as a leader in their talent management product group.
Russell’s varied career includes service with the Peace Corps in Senegal, working on a national, service-learning initiative with the YMCA, and helping to launch not-for-profits in Seattle and Boston-serving inner city youth and the differently abled, respectively.
A first generation college graduate, he earned his BA in English from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, and his Master’s in Journalism from the Manship School at LSU. He also completed a certificate in Dialogue, Deliberation and Community Engagement at the Fielding Graduate School in California.
He lives in East Norwalk, CT with his wife, Kristen. Their daughter is a Morehead-Cain Scholar at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
